Overshoot Photos uses a remote-controlled UAV to take aerial photographs and video. This can be of great use in Training and Simulation Exercises, giving an aerial view of the incident and how the vehicles and staff are deployed as the incident progresses. Debriefs can then use the images for feedback and constructive criticism.
For real incidents, a UAV provides another view and can greatly assist in managing the situation as well as post-incident analysis and record keeping. It is invaluable in getting to places that are inaccessible or, indeed, dangerous to staff.
